Uses: It is mainly used as the raw material in the manufacturing of sodium hydrosulphite, formic acid and oxalic acid. It is also used in leather industry, serving as camouflage salt in the chrome tanning method, and used in catalyst and stabilizer compositions, and in the printing and dyeing of textiles as a reducing agent.
